Literate for Life- Building Self Esteem in Children

My friend Pamela, at Literate for Life has created a wonderful website with great, helpful information!!!!  Here is some information from her website.

Pamela Hall is an award winning teacher receiving 2 national and 1 district awards.  She believes that education is igniting a fire rather than filling a bucket. She is a life-long learner that encourages the love of learning.

Holding a current teaching certificate, she has over 22+ years teaching experience: 18 public education and 11 home educating, 10 tutoring privately & 4 for a public school, and 11 coaching home educating families. She has led school staffs through full school accreditation, implemented and led ministry for children, founded and led home school co-ops, led bible studies for women, and led small (cell) groups for church. She teaches at a public school part-time, she privately tutors students & she teaches group exercise at the YMCA.

She is the founder and managing director of Literate For Life, a foundation that helps people become more literate for their life~ one word at a time.  She loves her family, church, community, and God. When Pamela isn’t teaching, tutoring or spending time with her family, she can be found taking in God’s beauty in her flower gardens. She is passionate about sharing anything that will make a difference in the lives of children. Contact her: literateforlife@gmail.com (Be sure to put “For Pamela Hall” in the subject box.)

She has recently published an online article in Moms Magazine titled 7 Surefire Ways to Squash Self Esteem.  Whether you are raising little ones now, volunteering somewhere or have grandchildren, this is great information on how to build up children and not tear them down.
