Reading Eggs Review

We were able to review a fun early reading program called Reading Eggs.  David is a beginner reader that is in Kindergarten this year.  He LOVES this game!!!  This is an online program for children ages 3-7.  They learn alphabet recognition all the way through phonics using songs, puzzles and games.  Everything was very easy to set up and get started.  It took us right to the placement test!

David loves to be an “Eggsplorer”!  In true Hackett style, he loves the challenge of earning levels and golden eggs!  He has been able to move through the levels at his own pace, and is enjoying his journey.  There are 100 lessons to keep him busy.  He has recently finished a level and was able to print out a certificate!  That made for one happy boy!!!  I even received an email about his progress!

Reading Eggs subscription is

  • 12 months for $75 (add a second or third child at 50% off)
  • 6 months for $49.95 (add a second or third child at 50% off)
  • Monthly for $9.95

A free 14 day subscription is available for you to try it out.  Companion books and writing workbooks are also available.

Reading Eggspress is another part of Reading Eggs that is for older children ages 7-13.

David has enjoyed playing this game and has learned a lot!!!  I would love to continue the subscription after our 3 months are up, but it’s not in our budget right now.  Maybe we could as for it as a gift from family!!!

Many others on the TOS Crew got to review this program too!  See what they had to say here.

*I was given a free 3 month trial of Reading Eggs in exchange for my honest opinion, I received no other compensation.
